Vesicoureteral Reflux

Abstract
Under normal circumstances, the ureterovesical junction prevents urine regurgitating into the ureter. In this way, the kidney is protected from high pressure in the bladder and contamination by infected vesical urine. When this valve is incompetent, although some degree of hydroureteronephrosis may ensue, the chance for the. development of urinary infection is significantly enhanced and pyelonephritis then inevitable.
Herein a case of bilateral vesicoureteral reflux is reported.
